Concept To Reality

We begin with your site, ideas, and concepts.

Thirty five years experience in site analysis will allow us to thoroughly understand your site; its slope(s), orientation(s) and amenities. This study will tell us how to best use your site, and develop it in the most economical fashion.

We encourage your pictures, sketches, magazine articles, and any other ideas that will contribute to our understanding of your lifestyle.

Once we have completed the site analysis, have outlined your needs, and we understand your budget parameters, we will be able to bring all of the pieces together and begin planning. We will complete the planning of your home together, either in our office or electronically. When we have an approved plan we then package this information along with your input and send it to our Home Office for the completion of the concept phase and production of the concept drawings.

Through a series of check-points, we then progress through permit-ready construction documents to the beginning of the construction phase of your home.

custom millwork from Town and Country Cedar Homes

The Town & Country system allows for custom design, yet much of the structure can be pre-built in controlled factory conditions. The wood is dried in our kilns and hand scribed by skilled craftsmen in our factory. This process offers a higher level of quality control and can result in lower cost when compared to field assembly on your building site.

Where you may be considering a custom design, we have many plans from which to choose and information to inspire ideas. When you are in the Carolinas, please call us for an interview and personal tour.
